Who we are
Shanahan Education Foundation (SEF) is a non-profit organization founded to support students, researchers, and overall activities of Shanahan University.
The Shanahan Education Foundation Incorporated (SEF) in Nigeria and the United States of America (USA) is founded to support students, researches, and overall activities of the university. Like all universities worldwide, this Foundation assists Shanahan University to generate funds through donations from well-meaning individuals and Corporate Organizations to assist the university in achieving its objectives.
The Foundation engages in appeals and other activities aimed at sharing its vision and mission and invites others through their generous donations and contributions to be part of this vision and mission.

Mission
To ensure that Shanahan University, Onitsha, has the financial resources to confidently safeguard and expand the Church’s leadership role in providing quality and affordable education, and research for present and future generations.
Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.
Vision
Raising young people to become change-agents in the society through making Catholic education available to all who desire it through sustained funding, capacity building, endowments, and community involvement.
Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
